Theater Set Design
Artist Statement
I have been designing and building curious things and crazy inventions for the last 50 years. A few years back I designed and built my first theater set for a production of Shakespeare's “Much Ado About Nothing.”
During this production I noticed the trans-formative power that theater had on the lives of the student actors. I see the role of set design as supporting this transformation. I have since designed sets for over 20 shows. It has been a great honor to work with directors Donna Blue, Genette Gillard, Paul Mow, and Dan Maxon, on these productions.
